Host a Food Drive

Community food donations increase the quantity and variety of kid-friendly staples on our shelves. Your support helps make sure kids have the nutritious foods they need to grow, learn and thrive!

Community Food Drives

Neighbors, friends, churches, schools, workplaces–anyone can host a food drive and help fill our purple bags, family boxes and school pantry shelves.

Staples like pasta, rice, and peanut butter are an important source of nutrition for growth and learning. Choose the type of drive from the list, and let us know your plans by filling out the form. Together, we can keep kids and families nourished all year long!

What We Collect

We accept kid-friendly, healthy staples that are unopened and not expired. Items should be newly purchased and stored carefully. Please avoid glass jars.

Donations of smaller package sizes are preferred. For example, bags of beans, flour, sugar, etc., are most helpful in 1lb to 5lb packages, which are more easily sent home in our bags and boxes.

During the growing season, we accept donations of surplus crops from gardeners and farms.

Thank you so much for your donations and support!
